One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey (fiction)

In Kesey's classic a drunk and loud straggler doges jail time by pleading insanity and finds himself as a unorthodox neo-Jesus Christ with an interesting cast of characters as his pseudo apostles. By this I mean its the classic tale of revolt and defiance towards a controlling and overbearing hierarchy. Of course these stories almost always have the same tragic ending but, like always someone's soul is freed due to another's soul sacrificed.

If you like revolutions, 'Che' Guevara, Jesus, MLK, and the 60's I strongly recommend this book.
